Open House
I’m sure many of you were working at 11.30am on Wednesday 10 September. If you weren’t, you might have seen “Behind Closed Doors” – a programme on Channel Five about this weekend’s Open House when buildings across London not often open to the general public throw open their doors. It’s something the Institute has supported pretty much since it started.

Wednesday’s episode focussed on money and the City of London and included a visit to Chartered Accountants’ Hall.

It’s worth watching, especially if you’ve ever visited Chartered Accountants’ Hall, as I’m sure you will discover something about the building, its history and its architecture that you didn’t know.

You can watch the programme here, with the section on Chartered Accountants’ Hall about 30 minutes into the programme.

And of course, if you’re in London on Saturday, there will be regular
tours of the building between 9am and 12.45pm.
